Vision & Mission

Vision & Mission

It is vital for a school to have clarity of direction.

Two elements which can help establish a clear direction for any school are: A Vision Statement and a Mission Statement.

Here in Optimus, the Trustees have provided these statements, in order to get everyone to work toward the same objectives, using common approaches, with the same motivation. They provide a ‘reason for being’ and paint the ideal future.

We are taking the following statements seriously.

To make The Optimus Public School a place for inspired learners where the following are imparted and nurtured:

Academic excellence, physical fitness and psychological well being
Cultured and informed appreciation of good things around us.
Respect for the fellow human beings and the environment.

The school will strive to improve the communication skill and reading habits of the children through literary activities and reading programs.

The school will promote tolerance by participating in diverse cultural activities and celebration

Thinking, creating, connecting are at the heart of what we do at Optimus. Every day, we help children to develop the critical, foundational skills needed for a lifetime of learning; we encourage them to pursue their passions and apply their skills to solve meaningful problems; and we further our work together by communicating with honesty, openness, and respect. I invite you to learn more about Optimus—peruse our website or visit the school and see our exceptional programs in action!
—Head of School
Experience gained in two schools under my control has taught me that punishment does not purify, if anything, it hardens children.
